Rachel was born and raised in the Caribbean’s twin island Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. She grew up and spent most of her formative years in the rural town of Princes Town, Trinidad’s southern, diverse community. After Secondary School, Rachel started her career as a banker in the very community where she grew up, with the Island’s largest bank, making her a well-respected pillar in her community. During her tenure in Banking, Rachel pursued her bachelor’s in Management on a part time basis. After almost a decade as a banker, she then moved into the Insurance Industry by joining the Caribbean’s largest insurer as a Financial Advisor.

In the 11 years she spent in the insurance industry, Rachel built a client base of over 500 individuals and small businesses. In 2018, she was also instrumental in the establishment of a specialized claims process which is still utilized to this day.

In 2022, Rachel decided to move to the US to pursue her master’s in Finance, upon receiving a Women in Business Scholarship from Hult International Business School in Boston. Upon successful completion she joined True North Financial Partners LLC in September 2023 as a Client Relationship Associate, where she quickly secured her producers license in both life and health, and is currently working to attain her Series 7 designation.

n her spare time Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband and four pets (three dogs and a cat). She also enjoys vacationing in various locations, and have visited over a dozen countries to date, including Croatia, Greece and Italy.
